Nandi Awards is ‘Naandi’ for Congress Star war
The Congress leaders in the State are planning to make a beginning of their star campaign for the next round of elections, aptly making use of the Nandi Awards presentation, which is scheduled to be held on November 16 in Hyderabad.
The Congress had already roped in several stars from the tinsel world and is ready to face the star war from the TD and PRP.
Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, G Adiseshagiri Rao and IAS officer, K V Ramanachari, are on the mission to rope in wide range of stars including heroes, comedians, character artists, dancers, music directors, distributors and even successful villains on the silver screen.
The star combination of the Congress is being planned in such a way that it would be different from the star packages of the Telugu Desam and Praja Rajyam, which have only heroes in their kitties.
However, banking on the film glamour had already proved disastrous for the TD in the 2004 elections. It is to be seen how far it would help the Congress this time!
