Chiranjeevi tour in Pulivendula,Ysr comments!

The Praja Rajyam (PR) official spokesperson, Ms Sobha Nagireddy. said that the PR would make the state corruption-free. Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, she said that the Congress and the Telugu Desam (TD) feared the political entry of Mr Chiranjeevi and leaders of those parties were speaking in a desperate manner.

Responding to the remarks of the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, whether Mr Chiranjeevi would change his policies, Ms Sobha said that the PR would not change any schemes and would only make them corruption-free. She alleged that Congress leaders were distorting the remarks of Mr Chiranjeevi that he would make the Jalayagnam corruption-free and alleging that he would remove Jalayagnam.

She alleged that only Congress activists had benefited from the allocation of Rs 90 lakh to each mandal and added that Dr Reddy had said that he would do anything for Congress activists.

Ms Sobha said that people were supporting Mr Chiranjeevi who was promising social justice and change. She said that the response to Mr Chiranjeevi’s meetings was good in Andhra and Telangana regions and expressed confidence that more people would attend his meetings in Rayalaseema. The PR spokesperson said that Mr Chiranjeevi had worked hard in the cinema field and it would not difficult for him to establish a corruption-free society. She said even though the PR was supporting the formation of a Telangana state it would ensure that Andhra and Rayalaseema regions did not suffer any loss.

Meanwhile, it is reliably learnt that Praja Rajyam (PR) leaders in Kadapa district have made a slight change in the tour schedule of PR president Mr Chiranjeevi, and included Pulivendula in the places he is going to visit.

In a meeting held on Friday, they reportedly removed Kamalapuram, Badvel and Rayachoti constituencies from his tour schedule. Political observers said that as the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, had toured West Godavari district, the native district of Mr Chiranjeevi, the PR president was also focusing on Kadapa district.
