Kadapa Congress Leaders Attacks PRP Flags and Banners fire video

Congress persons set fire to Praja Rajyam flags and banners at Pulivendula in Kadapa district on Tuesday night, on the eve of Chiranjeevi’s Praja Ankitha Yatra. They also damaged vehicles of leaders and chased away party workers from the area. Praja Rajyam leaders, who were in the R&B guest house when the destruction took place, alleged that Congress workers were behind it. They also alleged that the police did not respond to their complaints.

It is learnt that trouble started after some Praja Rajyam activists tried to tie a banner near the house of a local Congress leader and also raised slogans praising Chiranjeevi and denouncing the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. Chiranjeevi’s yatra will begin from Balapanur, the native village of the Chief Minister in Kadapa district on Wednesday.

During his tour in Pulivendula, he is likely to respond to the comments made by the Chief Minister against him during his tour of East and West Godavari districts. It is learnt that Dr Reddy has asked the Congress activists to exercise restraint during the megastar’s tour. Praja Rajyam leaders are leaving no stone unturned to make the road show in Pulivendula a success. A large number of Chiranjeevi sympathisers and party workers have been camping in Kadapa district.
