Balaiah planning silent coup against Naidu?
As his ratha yatra progresses from one district to the other, Yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna is giving one shock after the other to his brother in law N Chandrababu Naidu.
In a pre-planned and deliberate manner, Balaiah is making controversial statements. On Wednesday, he said he was prepared to accept any post in the Telugu Desam party. “I will accept, if I am made party president. Otherwise, I will work as an ordinary party worker. I am ready to contest from anywhere, either to Lok Sabha or the Assembly. If I am not given a ticket, I will remain a party worker. Even a ministerial berth in the Cabinet is okay for me,” he said.
On Thursday, Balaiah went a step further. “I am ready to accept even the Chief Minister’s post. By God’s grace and party workers’ support, I may become the CM one day,” he said. Definitely, Balaiah must be sending shivers down the spine of Naidu.
It is a sort of moral pressure on Naidu and making the party cadres ready to accept the change. Who knows, there could be a coup against Naidu, if TD comes to power!
