Jacqueline Fernandez is was born on 2nd June, 1985, is a beauty queen from Sri Lanka who competed in Miss Universe 2006.

Having the ambition to do something for her country, she competed in Miss Universe 2006. She has worked as an anchorwoman on one of Sri Lanka’s business programs called “Lanka Business Report”. She also writes a weekly column for a national newspaper, the “Daily mirror”. Jackie also has a non-profit organisation in Sri Lanka focusing on empowering the underprivileged.

She has started her acting debut from the Hindi movie Aladin in 2009 directed by Sujoy Gosh along with well known Indian stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Ritesh Deshmukh.

The Miss Shrilanka 2006 Jacqueline Fernandez is making debut to Bollywood with Sujoy Ghosh’s Aladin. And even before the release of the film she got place on many filmmakers wish list. But ask her about her wish list. Jacqueline said that she admires the young heartthrob of Bollywood Shahid Kapoor. The model turned actress doesn’t hesitate to admit it.

Jacqueline becomes fan of him when both of them worked for a luxury brand ad a year ago. “I really admire Shahid for his hard work and passion. He has grown as an actor with every film and when I saw him in Kaminey, I was totally floored by his performance! He can look innocent and hot at the same time,” says the Shrilankan beauty.

So would she like to work with Shahid? “Sure, I’d love to!” she adds. May some genie fulfills her wish.
