Gur purab is a memorial of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Janam Diwas (Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the creator of the Sikh Dharm), and this festival is globally celebrated but the main attraction seems in Punjab and particularly so at the Amritsar’s Golden Temple (Swarn Mandir), the major holy place of the Sikh community.
