Whether it’s performing interventions, taking road trips, or trying to get in to the World Series through an underground tunnel, Always Sunny isn’t suffering from the inconsistency that plagued it last season.

Tonight’s episode might have been the best one of the year. “Kitten Mittens” continued the idiotic tour de force the gang has been exhibiting. You almost have to wonder why the gang never decided to merchandise before. In the archive of their get-rich-quick schemes, merchandising seems the most logical. Maybe it makes too much sense and that’s why they come up with such ideas as Kitten Mittons (sic), Paddy’s thongs, a green stress ball (actually just a raw egg) and the dicktowel (available at dicktowel.com**).
